Favorite Christmas Moment of 2016

It was an exciting Christmas morning, but by far the best present was Conner showing up on our kitchen table. Elder Conner Scoresby, a mug I haven't seen since he wound through security out of sight on August 24, 2016. I was sure my heart couldn't handle so many months of not seeing him, but somehow I did. And there he was grinning this same grin we see in all the pictures he sends.  We love his enthusiasm and positive attitude about serving his mission in El Salvador. We told him in the Skype call how he always looks so happy, and he said, "I thought about it, and there's nothing else I'd rather be doing. I'm using my time in the best way there is."

We love our missionary so much!

We are still alive and well! Oh man it's been forever! There's a lot of dust on this blog. It took me awhile to remember how to access and post on this old beast. But I have big plans to write again this coming year. I will take this baby for a walk every so often and exercise it's old bones.

Merry Christmas, blog realm. If you still roam this planet, I would love to hear a yodel. I'm looking for survivors.

 And Holls was around too. She got a lego dream house, a bow and arrow, and lots of jammies. I think she was most excited about the footie pajamas she asked Jovie to get her.
